Office + Compliance Manager
Job description:
The Office + Compliance Manager at Southern Spear Ironworks will support company operations by maintaining office systems and supervising staff. Duties + responsibilities will include:
Maintaining office services by organizing office operations and procedures; preparing payroll; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
Providing historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
Maintaining office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
Designing and implementing office policies by establishing standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments.
Completing operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
Maintaining office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
We are a young and rapidly growing full service structural steel construction firm. As the Compliance + Office Manager, must have strong background in human resources management, preferably in a construction or manufacturing environment. Here are our preferred qualifications:
5 years in an office management, compliance or HR management role at a construction firm
Proven track record of excellence in the duties + responsibilities of the position (with references)
A bachelor’s degree in Management, Human Resources, or other related field of study
Proficiency working with and managing diverse teams.
